The Roger Pradier Hogar Outdoor Wall Light, designed by Stéphane Joyeux, is a tall exterior wall sconce from the Hogar range. Finished in Old Rustic 046, this 600mm-high aluminium fitting is intended to provide controlled, downward-facing illumination for entryways, patios and façades.

The design is a contemporary interpretation of a lantern silhouette: a solid top housing conceals the light source above an open, skeletal lower frame. The composition uses negative space to create a clean, architectural profile while directing light downwards through the void.

Construction combines powder-coated aluminium with a satin-finish PMMA diffuser in the top housing; the lower section intentionally omits glazed panels to reduce maintenance and reveal the structure's slender vertical supports. The build emphasises durability and a considered, geometric form.

Light is delivered by two GU10 lamps (2 x 9W) recessed in the top block to minimise glare and focus illumination downwards. With an IP44 rating and IK10 impact resistance, the Hogar is specified for exterior zones that need robust, directional illumination rather than wide-area floodlight.

The fitting is Class I, so a protective earth is required. It accepts GU10 lamps (2 × 9W) — choose dimmable GU10 lamps and a compatible external dimmer if dimming is required.
