Roger Pradier Boreal Decorative Wall Light

The Roger Pradier Boreal Decorative Wall Light is a decorative wall-mounted fitting from the Boreal range, characterised by a tall C-scroll arm and a Ø 200 mm PMMA globe. The design reads as an ornamental lantern, intended to provide ambient illumination and architectural presence on vertical surfaces.

Formally the fitting uses an extended vertical rod that balances a cantilevered scroll arm, ending in a small decorative hook beneath the globe. A small oval wall plate enables a flush mount and the metalwork is finished in a dark, antiqued bronze / deep brown matte that reinforces a traditional street‑lantern aesthetic.

Build materials are robust and specification-led: an aluminium structure with a Ø 200 mm PMMA globe offered in clear and opal options. The globe’s upper half is encased by matching metal bands, giving a caged appearance while protecting the diffuser.

The clear PMMA option gives unobstructed light dispersal for warm ambient lighting and considered atmosphere; the opal globe will offer softer diffusion. The Boreal functions primarily as ambient and decorative illumination, forming part of layered schemes in hallways, porches and sheltered external facades.

Installation notes: the product is Class 1 and requires a protective earth connection. It carries an IP44 rating and IK08 impact resistance, making it suitable for sheltered exterior locations as well as internal circulation spaces.
