The Quintiesse Linara Wall Light is a decorative wall sconce from the Linara range by Quintiesse. Its elongated, tapered form and high-contrast finishes recall contemporary industrial and mid-century modern cues, intended to act as a sculptural accent in bedrooms, hallways and other circulation spaces.

Visually the fitting uses a semi-cylindrical arrangement of numerous thin, vertical metal slats finished externally in matte black. Inside, a natural brass backplate and central lamp holder provide a jewellery-like contrast and catch the light when illuminated.

Construction is rigid and architectural: the slats taper slightly so the shade is narrower at the top than the bottom. The open-slat build also allows for straightforward heat dissipation from the lamp; electrical components are concealed behind the central brass plate.

The Linara is designed to house a single long tubular filament bulb that remains visible through the slats. When lit the slatted form diffuses the source to produce linear and starburst shadow patterns on the mounting surface, providing ambient and accent illumination rather than task light.
