Quintiesse Laguna Pendant

The Quintiesse Laguna Pendant is a decorative pendant ceiling light and sculptural focal luminaire by Quintiesse. Laguna’s wide, shallow asymmetrical oval frame is formed from an open-work metal mesh with an undulating perimeter in a Brushed Gold finish. Dozens of clear, elongated teardrop glass droplets hang at varying lengths from the framework, creating movement and shimmer while thin aircraft cables allow the main form to appear to float beneath a circular ceiling canopy.

The hand-formed metal mesh has a textured appearance that contrasts with the smooth clarity of the glass droplets. The fixture is suspended from multiple thin wires and a central clear power cord; the internal structure houses a central cluster of candle-style lamp sockets.

Light is emitted from the central candle cluster and passes through the open framework while the glass droplets catch and refract illumination to produce a shimmering ambience and soft multi-directional light.
