Design For The People Cache Table Lamp, designed by Charlotte Honcke Design, is a sculptural table lamp that pairs a monolithic dark marble cylinder with two vertical elliptical metal shades. The Cache table lamp is intended to deliver soft, indirect ambient light while serving as a considered object in a living room, bedroom or study.

The design emphasises geometric contrast: a polished, cylindrical marble base set against thin, precisely formed metal shades. The asymmetric arrangement of two different-sized elliptical shades creates a changing silhouette when viewed from different angles. The design is offered in two variants.

The lamp is constructed from natural stone for the base and metal for the shades, underlining an elegant material mix that balances visual weight and fine detailing. The marble's subtle veining and polished finish create a calm, tactile presence on a sideboard or desk.

Light is produced from an upward-facing source concealed in the top of the base; the vertical shades act as reflectors to bounce light into the room and reduce direct glare. Shades are movable so you can tailor the reflection and distribution of the light for layered ambience.

The Cache requires GU10 lamps (PAR16) which are not supplied. The fitting is IP20 rated for indoor, dry-zone use. Dimming is possible with a dimmable GU10 lamp and a compatible dimmer. Manufacturer warranty information is available and varies between 2 and 15 years depending on the chosen specification.
