The Mullan Lighting Sofia Schoolhouse Pendant is a classic schoolhouse-style ceiling pendant from Mullan Lighting, offered in the Sofia range. The design pairs a large opal glass shade with a slender metal downrod, creating a suspended, softly glowing form intended for interior ambient use in kitchens, dining areas and other living spaces.

The pendant follows a 1920s schoolhouse silhouette with a wide, flat-bottomed glass profile and restrained metal hardware. It is available in Satin Brass, Polished Brass, Antique Silver and Antique Brass to suit traditional and contemporary schemes.

Construction combines an opaque opal glass shade with a metal gallery and rigid cylindrical downrod. The fitter uses visible thumb screws to secure the glass; the shade surface has a smooth, matte-to-satin appearance that conceals the lamp and softens reflections.

The opal glass fully encloses the lamp to diffuse light evenly and reduce glare, making it well suited to ambient illumination over dining tables or islands.
