The Mullan Lighting Ren Pendant Light is a cord-hung outdoor ceiling pendant from the Ren range by Mullan Lighting. The fitting pairs a shallow, dish-shaped metal shade with an exposed teardrop bulb for a vintage-industrial silhouette suited to covered outdoor areas, bathrooms and considered interior corners.

Its minimalist dish-shaped shade sits high on a stepped cylindrical socket assembly, emphasising the exposed bulb and hardware. The Ren is offered in a wide range of finishes and with either clear or opal glass options, allowing the pendant to be tailored to different schemes.

Constructed primarily in metal, the Ren shows a weathered, antique texture in some finishes and is suspended on a flexible cord that permits adjustable drop heights. The product is Class II (double insulated) and supplied with an IP65 rating for strong water resistance.

The exposed-bulb arrangement provides wide, downward illumination and works well for ambient or task-accent lighting when specified with a suitably warm lamp. Bulbs are sold separately; a warm filament-style lamp is often used to achieve a soft, welcoming glow.
