The Mullan Lighting Gentry Pendant is a ceiling-suspended pendant from Mullan Lighting's Gentry range. Combining a classic opal-globe silhouette with stepped metal detailing and a fabric-covered suspension, it is designed to be a focal point for dining areas, bedrooms and children's rooms while providing even, ambient illumination.

Formally the design pairs a large spherical opal glass diffuser with a tiered metal gallery at the top and a brown, twisted fabric cord for suspension. The pendant is offered in multiple size options — Small, Medium and Large — and in a wide range of metal finishes to suit contemporary and traditional schemes.

The globe is formed from smooth opal/frosted glass that produces an even, omnidirectional glow without pronounced glare. Metal and glass construction gives the fitting a considered presence; the metal cap secures the shade and houses the lamp holder.

Light is delivered as soft ambient illumination, making the pendant suitable for general room lighting or as a series over a dining table when hung in multiples. Bulbs are sold separately and the fixture is shown to work well with warm-colour lamps for a softer atmosphere.
