Marset Ginger Wall Light

Marset Ginger Wall Light by Joan Gaspar is a cantilevered swing-arm wall light combining minimalist industrial form with considered detailing. The wide, saucer-like shade and secondary inner diffuser give the lamp a sculptural profile, while the long arm positions light over tables or desks without ceiling wiring.

The fixture’s arm pivots at a compact wall bracket to sweep in a wide horizontal arc; the bracket’s triangular profile and diagonal support are visible design cues. The Ginger is offered with a pressed-wood diffuser in Oak RSC or Wenge RSC and is available with a plug, canopy or recessed canopy.

Construction is explicit in its materials: a 4 mm pressed-wood diffuser in natural oak or wenge sits beneath an injected aluminium dissipater, with a metal stem lacquered in matte black. The movable arm is carbon fibre, lacquered in matte black, and the exterior finish reads as matte black with a white inner surface to reflect light downwards.

The shade uses a two-part system — a smaller inner bowl diffuser beneath a larger outer disk — to deliver soft, indirect illumination with reduced glare. The long cantilever arm provides extended reach for task or ambient layering, allowing the light to be placed over worktops, dining tables or reading areas while the bracket remains wall-mounted.
