Marset Ginger Wall Light

The Marset Ginger Wall Light is a long‑arm swing wall light designed by Joan Gaspar for Marset. Its slender cantilever arm and ultra‑thin circular disc shade form a contemporary, jib‑like silhouette that is intended to provide overhead illumination for tables and seating arrangements.

The design pairs a triangular wall bracket with a long horizontal arm and a suspended disc shade. The diffuser is offered in two pressed‑wood choices — Oak and Wenge — while the overall language is minimalist and industrial in feel.

Construction combines a 4 mm pressed‑wood diffuser (available in Oak or Wenge), an injected aluminium dissipater and a metal stem lacquered in matte black. The movable arm is made of carbon fibre and finished in black matte, and the fixture presents a consistently pared‑back profile.

Light is delivered from a small, bowl‑shaped housing set centrally beneath the shallow disc, providing directional overhead illumination suitable for both task and ambient use. The long cantilever arm gives extended reach similar to a floor lamp or pendant, and the arm pivots at the wall bracket so the light can swing horizontally; a suspension cable from the arm end indicates height adjustment at installation.

Installation options include plug, canopy and recessed canopy variants; the power cable runs along the arm and exits at the wall end for plug‑in versions. The product carries a two‑year defects‑only warranty.
