Marset Cala Floor Lamp is a floor lamp from Joan Gaspar's Cala range for Marset, finished in varnished oak with a large cylindrical drum shade. The design is intended to deliver comfortable ambient lighting within a room while expressing a sculptural, furniture-like presence.

The form is defined by a tripod base whose three rectangular wooden legs cross and overlap to create a narrowed, hourglass silhouette. Horizontal cross-bars reinforce the base and visible dark screw fixings add a restrained industrial detail against the natural wood grain.

Construction combines a varnished oak structure with a white polyester shade that uses a PVC/PET laminated backing. A methacrylate diffuser sits at the lower edge of the shade to help soften and distribute light; some internal components are formed from plastics and acrylics where required for electrical and diffuser elements.

The Cala provides even, diffused ambient light through its drum shade and lower methacrylate diffuser. It accepts three E26 lamps; compatible formats include CFL T4 20W, A19 incandescent up to 60W, or LED A types around 11W equivalent.
