The Graypants Scraplights Hive Pendant is a distinctive pendant light from Graypants’ Scraplights range. Handcrafted in a bulbous, teardrop silhouette, the Hive is designed to provide warm, textured ambient illumination for interior ceiling mounting.

Its form is created from multiple horizontal rings of stacked corrugated cardboard, laser-cut to produce the range’s characteristic darker edges and visible fluting. The Hive is offered in Natural and White finishes to suit a range of interior palettes.

The shade is assembled by hand using non-toxic adhesive and is treated with a non-toxic fire retardant. Suspension is via a thin electrical cord that enters through the central top aperture, and the artisanal construction means each shade has slight, organic variation.

The corrugated layers allow light to filter through the gaps while also diffusing output from the main lamp, producing a warm glow and soft internal shadowing.
