The Foscarini Rituals Ceiling Light is a surface-mounted fitting from the Rituals range, designed by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba. Its sculptural, elongated form references traditional rice‑paper lanterns while providing considered overhead ambient illumination.

The design features a large, cocoon‑like ovoid diffuser with dense, horizontal undulating ribbing that runs around the shade. This balance of a dominant shade and a low‑profile ceiling canopy gives the fitting a calm, architectural presence.

Rituals is realised in blown glass with a specially processed surface that appears as a frosted, translucent finish. A short, narrow neck links the diffuser to the small cylindrical ceiling rose, emphasising the shade as the principal visual element.
