Smoked, ribbed glass pendant by Foscarini — sculptural ambient light on a single suspension cable. IP20.
Create sculptural ambience with ribbed smoked-glass form
Diffuse light gently with vertical fluting
Suspend on a single discreet cable
Specify for indoor, dry locations (IP20)
Designed by Luca Nichetto for Foscarini
The Foscarini Plass Pendant by Luca Nichetto is a ceiling-mounted pendant that enlarges the charm of Venetian glass into a sculptural, pill-shaped lamp with a smoked, translucent surface.
Plass emphasises form and texture: an elongated, ellipsoidal diffuser with continuous vertical ribbing and a visible horizontal seam where two symmetrical halves meet. The range is available in Light Blue and Grey.
The diffuser is formed from a translucent smoked glass with pronounced vertical fluting. A thin, dark suspension cable connects to a small circular cap at the top apex, referencing careful assembly and a considered silhouette.
Designed for ambient illumination, the ribbed surface diffuses and refracts light from the internal source to reduce glare, creating a calm ambience and balanced clarity across a room.
The pendant is suspended by a single wire that supports the fitting and provides the electrical connection. It is intended for indoor, dry locations (IP20) and is supplied with a 1 year manufacturer warranty; consult the product technical information for precise installation and lamp specifications.
At Lighting Design Online we place this pendant where sculptural presence and soft, even ambience are needed. Our guidance focuses on the right outcome for your scheme — helping you choose finishes and placement with clarity, and assuring a durable, considered result for interiors and project work.
