Foscarini Mite Floor Lamp is an award‑winning floor lamp by Marc Sadler for Foscarini, notable for its slender, totem‑like silhouette and innovative material treatment. The lamp is designed to deliver diffused ambient light together with a focused upward beam that gently washes ceilings for a warm, balanced atmosphere.

The form is a tall, tapering conical diffuser that widens towards the top, imparting a sculptural presence without visual bulk. The surface shows a fine linear texture produced by horizontal carbon or Kevlar thread applied over a glass‑fabric body; the range is offered in these two thread treatments to suit different schemes.

Construction combines a fibreglass/glass‑fabric diffuser with an internal metal rod and a brushed steel upper parabola that both secures the diffuser and acts as an internal reflector. The lamp sits on a low‑profile, nickel‑plated steel base for discreet, stable support.
