The Foscarini Filo Floor Lamp, designed by Andrea Anastasio for the Filo range, is a sculptural floor lamp that treats its cable and decorative elements as part of the design language. The piece combines a slender powder-coated metal stem and pedestal with a porcelain cone and artisanal hand-blown glass beads, intended for indoor ambient and downward-directed light.

Filo is intentionally deconstructed: the braided fabric cable is wrapped around hooks on the stem and threaded through two glass ornaments to create an abacus-like aesthetic. The lamp is offered in predefined versions that vary by cable colour, glass decoration and base finish to suit different interiors.

Construction pairs a matte metal stem and circular base with a moulded porcelain shade and mouth‑blown glass elements. The cable is fabric-covered and becomes a visible, decorative feature; the glass beads are individually worked during production, reflecting the product's artisanal approach.

Light is delivered downwards through the porcelain cone for semi-diffused and direct illumination, making the lamp suitable as an ambient or task-adjacent light in living rooms, reading corners and bedrooms.
