The Foscarini Caboche Pendant, designed by Eliana Gerotto and Patricia Urquiola, is a signature suspension lamp that transforms light into a sparkling composition of transparent spheres. The Caboche range celebrates a jewellery-like silhouette while delivering diffused, ambient illumination suited to considered interior spaces.

The form is a hollow, donut-shaped ring covered in clear PMMA spheres that refract and scatter light. The range is offered in Grey and Clear appearance options, maintaining a lightweight visual presence through transparent construction and a minimal suspension system.

Construction combines clear PMMA beads held by transparent polycarbonate (PC) arches over a central assembly of powder-coated steel sheets and an aluminium disc. The lamp includes a satin-finish PMMA diffuser and an opaline PMMA cover on the aluminium disc to soften output while preserving the design’s crystalline texture.

Light is provided by a double-sided LED board mounted on the aluminium disc, producing a diffused, high-brilliance effect as light refracts through the spheres. A three-point suspension of thin stainless steel cables and a white ceiling canopy give the pendant a floating appearance; an electric decentralisation kit is available.
