Foscarini Caboche Pendant, designed by Eliana Gerotto and Patricia Urquiola for the Caboche range, is a decorative suspension lamp that turns light into a jewel-like composition of transparent spheres. The piece is intended to provide soft, diffused ambient illumination while acting as a sculptural focal point in an interior setting.

The lamp body is formed from multiple transparent PMMA spheres applied to polycarbonate arches, creating a toroidal, donut-shaped profile. The Caboche Plus restyling gives greater transparency and a lighter silhouette; it is offered in Grey and Clear appearance options and can be suspended at varying heights via its three-point cable system.

Construction combines powder-coated steel sheets that incorporate a double-sided LED board with an aluminium disc serving as a heat dissipator. The assembly is finished with an opaline PMMA disc at the top and a satin-finish PMMA diffuser at the bottom; spheres attach using the manufacturer's twist-lock system for a clean visual result.

The multi-sphere geometry refracts light across the surface for a subtle sparkling effect while the top and bottom diffusers ensure even light distribution and reduced glare. The Caboche Plus uses an integrated LED board to deliver its ambient output.

Product notes: the MyLight version is dimmable via Bluetooth using the Casambi app. The fitting suspends from three steel cables and uses a white ceiling canopy; an electric decentralisation kit is available. The fixture is rated IP20 and is supplied with a one-year manufacturer warranty.
