Foscarini Buds 2 Table Lamp by Rodolfo Dordoni is the largest piece in the Buds family, conceived as a sculptural table lamp that provides soft, diffused ambient light. The design pairs a generous blown-glass diffuser with a slim, transparent support to create a considered, contemporary presence on a side table or console.

The form centres on a large oblate (flattened spherical) diffuser with a wide circular aperture at the top, which intentionally reveals the bulb and makes it part of the composition. The range is available in Grey and Warm White, emphasising either cool, smoky tones or a softer ivory hue when lit.

Construction uses precious five-layer hand-blown glass with a high-gloss finish and a milled, hand-polished transparent PMMA cylindrical base. The base is finished to a mirror-like clarity and is supplied with a transparent protective film; the cable exits through an oblique groove at the base to reduce visual clutter.

Light is delivered as diffused ambient illumination: an internal pale straw-yellow glass layer warms the output when illuminated, making the colour richer without changing the external finish.
