The Birdie is intended as a table lamp for bedside or side-table ambient lighting and presents a bold, cohesive silhouette that reads as a single sculptural object.

Formally, Birdie pairs a tapered, slightly flared shade with an extremely slender stem and a thin, circular base. The design includes a small, branch-like protrusion on the stem that functions as a touch-sensitive dimmer in the dimmable versions. The range is offered in two sizes and is finished with a liquid-coated monochrome treatment in the pictured example.

Construction uses a die-cast zinc alloy base and a steel rod, both liquid coated for a consistent exterior. The lamp's internal diffuser is an opaline injection-moulded polycarbonate, while the outer diffuser is a translucent injection-moulded polycarbonate, creating the lamp's even, soft surface glow.

Birdie delivers diffused ambient light: the shade and diffusers distribute light downward and through the translucent material for a softened effect, with the opaline internal diffuser helping to control glare. The lamp is suitable for bedside and side-table use where calm, balanced ambience is required.

Practical product notes: the translucent power cord exits from the edge of the circular base. In dimmable versions the touch sensor is located on the tip of the rod arm and allows gradual adjustment of luminous intensity; these versions include an electronic transformer on the transparent cable.
