Foscarini Bahia Ceiling/Wall Light is a decorative surface-mounted fixture from Foscarini, designed by Lucidi & Pevere. The Bahia range presents a large-format, sculptural approach to ceiling and wall lighting that prioritises soft, ambient performance and a distinctive visual presence.

The design comprises three overlapping, egg-shaped plates arranged in an asymmetrical, nested composition. Finished in a uniform matt white, the layered forms create an organic silhouette that emphasises the interplay of shadow and concentric glows rather than ornamental detail.

The body is formed from injection-moulded polycarbonate, producing a clean, non-reflective surface and a slim overall profile. The largest rear plate acts as the primary mounting base, allowing the fitting to sit flush to the wall or ceiling with minimal protrusion.

Light is delivered indirectly through the layered plate system: the tiered structure conceals the internal light source and the electronic ballast so that illumination is primarily reflected and diffused. The result is gentle, balanced ambient light with a considered play of shadow and glow.
