The Flos String Light Pendant is a spherical suspension lamp by Michael Anastassiades from the String Light family. Its bisected form pairs a matt varnished die‑cast aluminium upper hemisphere with an opal polycarbonate diffuser to deliver calm, diffused ambient illumination.

The design emphasises geometric simplicity and a floating silhouette created by a fine coaxial suspension. The pendant is available in Black, Blue and White finishes and hangs from a Kevlar‑reinforced 22‑metre coaxial cable for flexible placement in high or double‑height spaces.

Construction uses a die‑cast aluminium body finished with a clear soft‑touch varnish and an optical opal PC diffuser that ensures even light distribution. The ceiling connection and power options are finished in black polycarbonate and the fitting carries an IP20 rating and a two‑year manufacturer warranty.

The integrated LED delivers 21W producing approximately 1515lm at a warm 2700K, providing a soft, even glow through the diffuser. Versions include an electronic on/off switch with optical touch dimming or a Touch‑Dim plus Casambi‑Ready option; the product uses an electronic 48V supply and the LED is replaceable only by a qualified professional.

Installation notes: the fitting requires either a separate floor switch power supply or a ceiling/wall rose connection—select the correct accessory when ordering.
