The Flos Suspension Pendant Light is a spherical suspension lamp from Flos that pairs a matt, soft-touch die-cast aluminium upper hemisphere with an opal polycarbonate lower diffuser. Its balanced geometry and high-contrast finish speak to minimalist, architectural interiors while delivering even ambient illumination.

Design is defined by a precise horizontal bisection between the opaque aluminium top and the luminous opal diffuser. The fixture is offered in Blue, White and Black finishes and the minimal coaxial suspension allows the sphere to appear to float within a space.

Construction combines a varnished die-cast aluminium body with a clear soft-touch coating and an optical opal PC diffuser. The suspension uses a Kevlar-reinforced coaxial cable and the product is supplied with matching wall/ceiling connection and optional power supply with floor switch in a black, varnished PC finish depending on configuration.

The opal diffuser softens the light source to give a glare-free, evenly distributed ambient glow. The spherical form provides a 360-degree profile that works where balanced, calm ambience and visual clarity are needed indoors. The fitting is IP20 rated for interior use.

Control options vary by configuration: an electronic on/off switch with optical mechanism, versions with touch dimming, or a touch dimm/CASAMBI-ready option are available and a dimmer is included in some specifications.
