Flos Noctambule Floor Lamp is a sculptural floor luminaire designed by Konstantin Grcic for the Noctambule range. Standing 2.17 metres high, the lamp assembles as a column of transparent blown-glass modules crowned by a conical shade, delivering an elegant vertical presence suited to living rooms, lounges and considered reception spaces.

The design balances purity of form with an architectural intent: three cylindrical glass elements rise into a wider cone, separated by horizontal opal silicone ring diffusers that become the primary luminous surfaces. The base is low and unobtrusive, with a dark finish that anchors the tall glass column.

Construction is precise and material-led. The structure uses mouth-blown transparent glass, die-cast aluminium base and rings, and hydroformed steel internal lateral arms. Injection-moulded optical opal silicone rings provide even diffusion while the visible internal arms and wiring read as deliberate architectural details.

Light is emitted from the horizontal ring diffusers to create soft, ambient illumination. The integrated light source is specified at 54W producing approximately 1,459 lm at 2,700K with CRI >90 and is classified E for energy efficiency. The fixture is dimmable between 10% and 100% via the pedal-operated control and uses an electronic 48V power supply.

Practical notes: the lamp is supplied with a 2-metre power cable, a pedal dimmer panel and a wall-mounted 48V power supply unit with interchangeable plugs. The LED light source is replaceable only by a professional. The product is rated IP20 and carries a two-year manufacturer warranty.
