The Flos Coordinates Suspension 3 Pendant, designed by Michael Anastassiades for the Coordinates range, is a decorative ceiling suspension that arranges linear elements into a three‑dimensional Cartesian grid. It is intended to provide evenly diffused ambient light from integrated linear LEDs and to act as a sculptural centrepiece in considered interiors.

Formally the Suspension 3 is composed of five interlocking cylindrical rods: a central vertical rod with four horizontal rods arranged in two tiers, perpendicular to create a lattice effect. The assembly is held by thin, discreet suspension cables and a multi‑point system that stabilises the frame and helps the structure appear to float beneath the ceiling.

Each rod is extruded anodised aluminium in a champagne finish and incorporates a platinum optical silicone diffuser which houses the continuous LED strip. The system uses invisible electrical and mechanical connections at intersections and includes a matching cylindrical ceiling rose to maintain a clean architectural profile.

The integrated LED strips deliver continuous linear light along each rod. Typical performance for this configuration is 71W producing 3850 lm at 2700K with a colour rendering index greater than 95, giving warm, high‑quality light that renders materials and finishes with clarity. The diffuser provides soft, balanced ambient illumination rather than a directional task beam.
