The Flos Bibliotheque Floor Lamp, designed by Philippe Starck, is a floor lamp that delivers soft, diffuse ambient light while combining lighting with integrated shelving and a convenient USB charging point.

The design pairs a slender, chrome-plated stem and square base with a truncated conical shade and three slim transparent shelves that attach to the central rod. External diffuser options are available in Aluminized Bronze, Fumee, Fabric, and Transparent to suit different schemes.

Construction is engineered for clarity of form: the base, rod stand and diffuser stand are chrome-plated die-cast zinc, with a zinc-plated P04 steel base cover. The internal diffuser and lamp-holder are opal injection-moulded polycarbonate, upper ring in clear PC, and brackets in polished stainless steel. External diffusers are offered in PVC fabric or injection-moulded methacrylate with clear or smoke-grey finishes, or with a silver or bronze inner surface produced by vacuum aluminium coating.

The opal internal diffuser provides an even, low-glare wash of light suitable for ambient illumination in living areas, reading corners or beside seating. The integrated shelves create small surfaces for books and devices while the USB outlet on the base (max 2A) enables convenient charging.

Practical notes: the lamp is rated IP20 for indoor use and includes a USB outlet rated to 2A. Please refer to technical details for compatible lamps and any dimming requirements. The product is supplied with a two-year manufacturer warranty.
