The Flos Almendra Suspension Lamp, designed by Patricia Urquiola (2022), is a sculptural pendant that uses an aluminium tubular frame and almond-shaped light modules to provide considered, diffused ambient illumination.

The design reads as an asymmetrical, organic branch: three semi‑oval modules hang along a curved structure and can be turned in 60° steps to alter directionality. It is offered in Bay Blue Metallized, Anthracite, Nude and Off White finishes.

Construction is precise and material-led. The tubular structure and CNC aluminium terminals carry a uniform matte or metallised finish, and a metal rosette in matte white completes the ceiling detail. The product is assembled without glued components to allow complete separation for future recyclability.

Light is delivered by integrated edge‑lighting directed through white translucent diffusers, producing warm, even illumination. The specification is 45W with approximately 1,353 lm at 2,700K and CRI >95, making the fitting suited to ambient schemes where colour fidelity and comfortable warmth matter.

Install as a three‑point suspension using the thin vertical cables and separate electrical cord; useful cable length is 3 m. The ceiling rose contains the integrated electronics and supports 1–10V, DALI, push‑dim and potentiometer dimming. As an integrated LED fitting, there are no replaceable bulbs. The product carries a two‑year manufacturer warranty.
