Flos Aim Pendant is a directional pendant light from the Aim range, designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for Flos. The design pairs a compact, cylindrical head with a long suspension cable and draws on engineered materials — varnished aluminium and photo-etched optical polycarbonate — to deliver focused task and accent lighting.

The Aim fitting is conceived to be both sculptural and functional: the lamp head travels along the suspension cable and can be tilted to aim light precisely where required. It is offered in White and Black appearance options, allowing the suspension cable to act as a strong visual line within the composition.

Construction combines a varnished aluminium sheet body with a photo-etched polycarbonate shade and an internal photo-etched PC reflector for controlled output. The light-emitting face uses a circular diffuser that produces a clean, even beam. The Black option is shown with a uniform matte finish in product imagery.

The pendant delivers directional task or accent illumination and is suitable where focused, adjustable light is needed. The LED can be dimmed using a "Triac for Led" dimmer approved by Flos. The fitting is powered directly from mains supply and is designed for interior use (IP20).

Practical details for specification: the cable has a useful length of 9 metres and allows a maximum suspension of around 3 metres; a multiple rose is available with capacity to connect up to five Aim Small fittings. Flos provides a 2-year warranty and states they will not accept responsibility for incorrect electrical connection; installation should therefore follow manufacturer guidance and be carried out by a qualified electrician.
