The Elstead Fragment Pendant, designed by Paul Gruer, brings a handcrafted, antique aesthetic to contemporary interiors. Part of the Fragment range, this ceiling‑mounted pendant combines a simple drum silhouette with an artisanal, hand‑painted gold leaf finish and glazed patina for visual warmth.

Its form is a rigid cylindrical drum suspended from a slender vertical rod; a cast‑textured cross finial marks the junction point and provides a distinctive, found‑object character. The Fragment is available in Gold and is offered in two variants to suit different ceiling heights and proportions.

Surface treatment is a key feature: the exterior shows a deliberately distressed texture with horizontal fissures and dark vertical glaze streaks, while the interior of the shade is finished in smooth white to optimise light reflection. The glazed finish and intentional imperfections create an aged, atmospheric quality without compromising clarity of form.
