The Elstead Chicago Outdoor Ceiling Lantern is a classic outdoor pendant lantern from Elstead's Chicago range. Constructed for ceiling-mounted installation, it is designed to provide overhead ambient light for porches, patios and sheltered entrances.

The lantern follows a turn-of-the-century silhouette: a tapered, bell-shaped body with a tiered, scalloped top hood and a flared cap. A decorative pointed finial and coordinating chain suspension complete the heritage aesthetic.

Made from aluminium with a textured black finish, the fixture is enclosed by clear seeded blown glass panels. The glass displays visible air bubbles that give an artisan appearance and a tactile surface quality.

A single internal light source sits within the glass enclosure and is visible through the panels. The seeded blown glass diffuses the lamp slightly differently to standard clear glass, softening the light while retaining clarity of form — well suited to ambient exterior lighting over an entry or covered porch.
