The David Hunt Lighting Orb Pendant is a large spherical pendant light that combines an architectural outer cage with classic candelabra lighting to provide ambient illumination and a decorative ceiling focal point.

The Orb's form is defined by multiple intersecting thin metal rings that create an orbital, atomic-inspired silhouette. Shown here in matte black, the pendant is available in four finishes, including Cream, and suits both traditional and contemporary settings.

Built from a metal frame with small circular connectors at the ring intersections, the fixture is supported by a central stem, coordinated suspension chain and circular ceiling canopy. Eight curved arms extend from a central hub to accommodate the candle-style sockets.

Light is delivered through eight candelabra-style sockets in an open-air arrangement, giving unobstructed distribution and a balanced ambient effect. The fitting accepts E14 candle lamps (lamps sold separately) and can be paired with Byron clip shades for a softer, more diffused look.

The pendant is supplied with an extra 50cm of cable; additional chain is available on request. Due to its handcrafted nature, dimensions are approximate. Lamps and shades are not included; David Hunt recommends standard LED candle lamps for an elegant finish.

What lamp type does the Orb pendant use?

The Orb uses E14 candelabra sockets. Lamps are not included; David Hunt recommends standard LED candle lamps (BUL/E14/LED/13) or the Coupe de Vent option (BUL/E14/LED/14).

Can I fit shades to this pendant?

Yes. The fitting accepts Byron clip shades and other made-to-order shades which are sold separately. A natural linen Byron shade (BYR26) is available.

Is the suspension length adjustable?

The pendant is supplied with an extra 50cm of cable and is suspended by a coordinated chain. Additional chain is available on request to adjust drop length.

Are the dimensions exact?

No. Due to the handcrafted nature of the Orb, all dimensions are approximate and may vary slightly; this can create minor optical differences when viewed from different angles.
