The David Hunt Lighting Hyde Chandelier is a six‑light ceiling pendant from the Hyde range, expressing a contemporary take on mid‑century modern form. The design pairs a minimalist geometric frame with hand‑spun metal shades to create an approachable focal fitting for living rooms, dining areas and principal rooms.

Formally the chandelier is built around a central cylindrical hub and three horizontal arms, each supporting a pair of cone‑shaped, diabolo‑style shades. The shades are hand‑sprayed in a matt finish and are offered in Arctic White, Pebble, Smoke Blue or Black; the configuration shown uses a polished brass framework and a rigid metal downrod, while the fitting can also be specified with alternative suspension options at point of order.

Construction emphasises metalwork and craft: a solid brass structural framework and polished brass finish define the hub, arms, downrod and ceiling canopy, while the shade exteriors are matt painted with a reflective gold‑tone interior that gently enhances warmth and clarity in the emitted light.

The Hyde delivers multi‑directional illumination with three shades pointing upwards and three downwards, giving balanced 360° ambient distribution. It houses six individual lamps (SES/E14), and David Hunt recommend LED golf‑ball style lamps for consistent performance; bulbs are not included. The fitting is dimmable when used with compatible dimmable lamps and a suitable dimmer.

At installation the pendant offers flexibility: the product can be installed with chain or adapted to sit directly to the ceiling, and the manufacturer supplies an additional 50cm of cable with the fitting. Additional chain or installation accessories are available on request. Note that the fitting and its packaging may not pass through doorways narrower than 65cm. The range carries a one‑year manufacturer warranty from David Hunt Lighting.
