The Dar Ikat Light Shade is a tapered, empire-style light shade from Dar's Ikat range. Crafted in pleated fabric with a woven texture and ikat motifs, it is designed to diffuse light and serve as a decorative accessory for lamp bases.

The design pairs traditional vertical empire pleating with a modern, blurred ikat pattern to create a globally inspired silhouette. It is offered in two appearances — Red and Blue — each finished with matching fabric piping at the top and base.

Constructed from a translucent woven fabric, the shade features tight, uniform vertical pleats and matching piping for a tailored edge. An internal frame gives structural support and provides the attachment point for a lamp base.

The pleated, translucent textile allows light to glow through the folds, producing a soft, diffused ambience rather than direct glare. As a decorative shade it is intended for indoor lamp use and will temper the bulb's output into an even, textured glow.

Note that this product is rated IP20 and is suitable for dry, internal environments only. The shade is supplied as a fabric shade with an internal frame; bulbs and electrical fittings are not integrated. Standard warranty is two years, extendable to five years via online registration.
