The Dar Explorer Easy Fit Pendant Shade is a non-electric pendant shade by Dar, designed to sit over an existing ceiling lamp holder and give a sculptural, fabric-like presence to interior spaces.

The form is a wide, flattened ring with deep, slanting folds arranged in a spiral; the effect is reminiscent of a draped turban and creates considered shadow and texture when lit. The shade is offered in two sizes, Small and Large, to suit different ceiling heights and proportions.

Construction is a single-piece shade with a fabric-like outer texture and a smooth, translucent inner layer that acts as the primary diffuser for the light source. The product is supplied as the shade only and does not include electrical fittings or lamps.

Light is emitted through the open top and bottom and is softened by the translucent inner surface, producing a balanced, decorative glow while preserving access for bulb changes. The sculptural ribs modulate light and shadow, making this a strong choice for ambient illumination in lounges, dining areas and bedrooms. Note the shade is rated IP20 and is intended for interior use only.
