CVL Luminaires Ring Pendant

CVL Luminaires Ring Pendant, designed by Emilie Cathelineau, is a ceiling suspension pendant that references 1960s jewellery-like forms while remaining contemporary. The Ring offers ambient illumination with a clear mid‑century modern language and a warm brass contrast to the darker outer surface.

The pendant is formed from two interlocking metal bands with an asymmetrical, wave‑like profile; the contrast between the dark exterior and the brass‑finished interior is central to the design. It is offered in Satin Brass/Satin Graphite, Satin Graphite/Satin Brass, Satin Graphite/Satin Nickel and Satin Nickel/Satin Graphite.

Construction combines a brass rod and metal shade bands with a large, flat white translucent diffuser at the base. A small polished brass "jewel" clip joins the shade components, providing both a mechanical fix and a decorative detail.

The light source is internally mounted and concealed by the diffuser to deliver soft, even, glare‑free ambient light. The fitting is specified with a warm appearance (2700K) and a strongly diffusing material to preserve clarity and atmosphere in living and dining spaces.

Two installation formats are available: a standard model fixed to a 300 mm tube (total height 440 mm) and a cable‑mounted version for greater drop, with a standard cable length of 2 m that can be shortened during installation. The two side "jewels" are polished as standard; alternate satin finishes are available on request. The product is supplied with a 2‑year manufacturer warranty.
