The CVL Luminaires Flea Pendant is a ceiling-hung decorative pendant designed by Emilie Cathelineau for CVL Luminaires. Its silhouette, inspired by brass instruments, provides a refined focal point and is intended to deliver localised downward light through a textured glass base.

Formally the design pairs an extremely narrow, tapering metal neck with a flared, trumpet-like bell that holds a ribbed glass diffuser. The Flea is offered in Satin Brass, Satin Copper, Satin Graphite and Satin Nickel so you can choose a finish to sit quietly within modern or more classic schemes.

Construction combines a satin metal body with a clear, vertically fluted glass at the bell’s base and a braided textile suspension cord. A small cylindrical coupler connects the neck to the cable, underlining the considered mechanical detailing. The fitting is covered by a two-year manufacturer warranty.

Light is housed within the bell and radiates through the fluted glass, producing focused downward illumination and subtle refracted patterns on surrounding surfaces. The pendant accepts a G9 lamp (LED 5W max) and is supplied without a lamp, making it straightforward to match the lamp type and colour temperature to your scheme.
