The CVL Luminaires Cercle & Trait Pendant is a suspension luminaire designed by Duo Pool for the Cercle & Trait range. The pendant pairs a large circular ring with a single asymmetrical horizontal bar to create a sculptural overhead presence while providing directed illumination.

Its graphic composition is offered in Satin Brass, Satin Graphite, Satin Nickel and Satin Copper, and is available in Small and Large sizes to suit different scales and ceiling heights.

Constructed from metal with a discreet translucent polycarbonate diffuser set into one section of the horizontal bar, the design uses thin suspension cables, a minimalist ceiling canopy and a diagonal tension wire to maintain a feeling of lightness and calibrated balance.

An integrated linear LED strip is housed in the longer segment of the horizontal bar and delivers downward-directed light through the polycarbonate diffuser, making the pendant effective for layering over surfaces or as a focused ambient source in circulation areas.

The fixture is suspended from a single vertical cable attached to a circular ceiling canopy; the shorter end of the bar is counterbalanced by the diagonal wire that provides structural tension.
