The Astro Harvard Pendant is an outdoor pendant from the Harvard range by Astro. This slim, box-shaped lantern is a modern interpretation of the traditional porch light and is specified for covered entrances and sheltered exterior ceilings; it carries an IP44 rating for weather protection.

The design uses a tall, slim rectangular metal frame with four clear glass panels, creating a transparent, geometric form that places the bulb at the visual centre. The pendant is finished in a textured black powder coat, emphasising crisp lines and contemporary architecture.

Construction is metal with clear glass panels fitted into the frame; the pendant is suspended by a single cable that enters the top of the box and conceals the ceiling connection. A central lamp holder sits within the frame to accept the lamp.

The open-glass design allows near 360° light distribution, making the Harvard Pendant appropriate for ambient illumination to porches and covered entrances. The fitting is shown with an elongated tubular bulb to emphasise its lantern character; the product is compatible with E27 lamp types noted in the product specification.

Bulbs are not supplied with the fitting. Specify dimmable E27 LED lamps and a compatible mains dimmer if dimming is required; the pendant does not include a separate driver or transformer. The fitting is backed by a three-year manufacturer warranty.
