The Astro Borgo Recessed Wall Light is a trimless, recessed wall light from Astro's Borgo range. Its minimal square face and narrow vertical aperture read as architectural detail once plastered in, and it is designed for vertical wall-mount installation to provide discrete directional illumination.

The design pairs a perfectly square outer profile with a central vertical rectangular slot, creating a refined geometric presence. The internal aperture contains an angled baffle that slopes inward to control glare. The fitting is offered in two colour temperatures: 2700K and 3000K.

Constructed in metal with a smooth, matte off-white or light grey appearance, the Borgo conceals its light source for a clean finish. The product uses integrated LED technology, offers a high colour rendering index (CRI 90) and is supplied with the lamp included. A three-year manufacturer warranty covers the fitting.

Light is emitted downwards from the recessed LED, minimising direct glare and producing controlled, low-level illumination suitable for path, step or architectural accent lighting. The low-profile slot delivers subtle, directional wash without visible lamp glare. The product has an IP20 rating and is intended for internal, dry locations.

The Borgo requires a constant-current 700mA driver (not included) and is dimmable depending on the control gear chosen. Forward voltage is 2.80V. Installation is trimless and must be completed before the final plaster skim; a square cutout is required — refer to the technical specification for exact cutout dimensions.
