The Artemide Tolomeo Mini Tavolo Desk Lamp, designed by Michele De Lucchi for the Tolomeo range, is a compact task lamp that pairs an articulated aluminium structure with a cone-shaped shade. Its clean, industrial-minimalist lines reference the original Tolomeo language while keeping the scale appropriate for desks and bedside tables.

The lamp uses two main arm segments linked by pivoting joints and an external spring-and-cable counterbalance system, allowing broad height and reach adjustment. The design is available in the Tolomeo family of mounting styles and supports multiple mounting accessories such as a weighted base or clamp versions.

Construction is predominantly aluminium: a polished chrome flat base and polished aluminium arms contrast with a matte silver-grey cone shade. Visible tension cables and exposed mechanical joints are integral to the aesthetic and the lamp's precise positional control.
