The Artemide Pirce Pendant, designed by Giuseppe Maurizio Scutellà, is a sculptural ceiling light that reads as art and architecture. Its signature slim disc peels into spiralling rings, producing a fluid, deconstructed form intended for decorative indoor use.

The design opens from a flat circular rim into a cascade of ribbon-like rings that spiral downward. The fixture is shown in a uniform matte white painted aluminium finish and is suspended from a central ceiling canopy by three thin suspension cables, giving it a light, floating presence.

Constructed from painted aluminium, Pirce presents a single-sheet appearance where the rings appear laser-cut and pulled down from a solid disc. The tiered, open form creates layered planes and crisp shadow play, maintaining a calm monochrome aesthetic when unlit.

The light source is concealed within a shallow, central dish at the base of the spiral and projects upward against the white interior of the tiers to produce indirect, diffuse illumination. This internal reflection provides an even, atmospheric ambience and strong sculptural shadowing suitable for living rooms, stairwells and entrance halls.
