The Artemide Demetra Desk Lamp, designed by Naoto Fukasawa, is a considered task light from the Demetra range. It pairs a slim disc head with a cantilever arm to deliver directional work-surface illumination, and is offered in several mounting variants for table-based use.

The design is quietly architectural: a cable-stayed cantilever arm supports a low-profile, disc-shaped head and a discreet weighted base. The Demetra desk lamp is available in Opaque Black, White and Anthracite Grey.

Head and arms are finished in painted aluminium, giving a precise, lightweight aesthetic while maintaining rigidity at the pivots. The arm is balanced by a thin tension cable and the base is weighted to ensure stability when the arm is extended.

Light is delivered by integrated LED sources recessed into the slim disc head, providing controlled, directional task lighting with minimal glare. The arm and head are fully adjustable for tilt and rotation, and the table model can be specified with an optional Motion Detector that switches the light on and off in response to movement.

The Demetra desk lamp is supplied for indoor use (IP20). Variants include table base, clamp and fixed support; related reading, wall and spot versions are also available. A power cable exits from the lower section of the vertical stem. Please consult product specifications for wiring, dimming and driver details; a five-year warranty is provided.
