The Aromas Metric Table Lamp, designed by Pepe Fornas, is a considered table lamp that pairs sculptural form with practical interior lighting. The design shows a craft-led approach: a stacked ceramic column crowned by a cylindrical shade, intended for localized or ambient illumination in living spaces and bedrooms.

The lamp’s totemic base is formed from three identical hand‑painted ceramic units, each shaped like opposing truncated cones joined at their narrow waists. Metalwork is offered in Black, Matt Brass, Chrome, Gold and White, allowing the piece to be integrated into contemporary and eclectic schemes.

Construction emphasises materiality: a smooth, non‑reflective terracotta/ burnt‑orange ceramic finish sits on a slim dark metal circular plate, with a thin matt‑black metal stem rising to the shade. The ceramic is hand painted, giving a tactile, crafted quality to the silhouette.

The Metric accepts a standard E27 lamp (maximum 60W) and delivers directed light through its cylindrical shade for task or ambient use. The fitting is Class II and rated IP20, suitable for indoor environments. Bulbs are not included.

Installation is straightforward: the power cord exits from the base for plug‑in connection and the lamp is designed for stable placement on flat surfaces such as side tables, consoles and desks. A dimmable option (B211 11W) is available on request — please ask for details — and the product is supplied as the base only. Warranty: 2 years.
