The Aromas Babel Table Lamp is a sculptural table lamp from Aromas, designed by AC Studio. It pairs a hand-painted, tiered base with a tall metal stem and a large cylindrical shade, intended for interior ambient and task lighting; the fitting accepts an E27 lamp up to 60W and is rated IP20.

The Babel base follows a stacked, Babylonian‑inspired silhouette, alternating smooth and vertically fluted cylinders for a considered, architectural presence. The contrast between matte hand‑painted segments and polished metal accents gives a tactile balance. Available finishes: Black, Matt Brass, Chrome, Shiny Gold and White.

Construction combines a decorative, hand‑painted ceramic or painted composite base with a polished metal stem and wide circular metal base plate for stability. The lampshade is a white cylindrical drum with a soft fabric texture. The power cord includes an inline rocker switch and a standard plug.

The large drum shade softens and diffuses light both upwards and downwards, providing balanced ambient light with usable task illumination beneath. Babel works well on side tables, consoles or bedside surfaces where a sculptural lamp can add warmth and atmosphere to the scheme.

No. The Babel uses an E27 lamp (max 60W) which is not included; choose a lamp to suit the finish and dimming needs.

Is the lamp dimmable?

A dimmable LED option (B211 11W) is offered please ask for details and pricing. Standard bulb dimming depends on the lamp and dimmer used.

What finishes are available?
