Formally the design pairs a shallow, truncated conical metal shade with a slender, vertical cylindrical rod mounted off-centre. The shade sits cantilevered from a short horizontal arm and circular wall canopy; the Aider is offered in Matt Brass and Satin Nickel finishes.

Construction is metal throughout with a light, reflective interior finish that helps direct light downward. A textured, ribbed brass-toned section on the vertical rod and contrasting hardware create a high-contrast decorative detail that reads as considered craftsmanship.
