The A-Emotional Light Mytilus Pendant by Arturo Álvarez is a sculptural ceiling pendant that draws on the movement of the seabed to create a calm, organic presence. The Mytilus range interprets waves and circular forms to deliver a decorative fitting intended for interior ambient illumination.

Design-wise the pendant pairs a perfect central opal sphere with an outer, fine‑grid mesh shade that is draped organically. The contrast between the geometric sphere and the irregular, undulating mesh is central to the piece. The range is available in Medium and Large sizes.

Construction uses a large, fine‑grid metallic mesh in a monochromatic palette, which appears silver or light grey visually. The mesh is manipulated to mimic the behaviour of soft textiles, creating fluid folds and a lightweight, ethereal aesthetic while remaining structurally distinct from fabric.
