STORY

The Visual Comfort Wimberley Library Wall Light, designed by Marie Flanigan, is an articulating decorative wall light from the Wimberley range. It is conceived for adjustable task and accent illumination in interiors such as living rooms, studies and reading corners.

The design pairs a long, linear arm and a stepped rectangular backplate with a flared conical shade to deliver a composed, directional form. The Wimberley is offered in single- and double-arm formats to suit different mounting needs and visual balances.

Construction combines refined metal hardware with an organic woven shade. The metalwork is finished in a soft, matte brass tone and contrasts with a natural wicker shade, while knurled thumb-screws at the joints give both tactile control and an industrial detail.

This articulating library light has two points of articulation — at the wall plate and at the head — allowing the arm to extend and the shade to swivel and tilt for precise task illumination. The long slender arm provides reach away from the wall so the light can function as a readable task light or a warm accent source.

The product is supplied for indoor use and carries an IP20 rating, so it is suitable for dry rooms only.
