STORY

The Visual Comfort Tiglia Table Lamp, designed by Kelly Wearstler for the Tiglia range, is a decorative table lamp intended to provide localised ambient light for tables, desks and bedside surfaces.

Its form references Memphis geometry: a thick cylindrical base accented by glossy spherical embellishments and a large drum shade that overlaps the top of the base to create a low‑profile, cohesive silhouette. The lamp is available in Plaster White and Black finishes and offered in Tall and Low sizes.

The base carries a high‑gloss finish that emphasises highlights on the spherical details, while the shade is a woven fabric described as linen. A broad, flat underside gives stability and a black power cord exits from the base for connection to mains power.

When illuminated the woven shade produces a warm, soft glow and reveals the fabric texture, making the lamp well suited to ambient and accent lighting rather than focused task illumination. Its compact overlap keeps the fitting visually restrained on bedside tables, credenzas or counters.
