STORY

The Visual Comfort Tepa Rechargeable Table Lamp, designed by Sean Lavin, is a portable, architectural table lamp from the Tepa range. Its clean, T-shaped silhouette and considered proportions make it suitable for contemporary interiors and for use outdoors where an IP65 rating is required.

The lamp's form is deliberately minimalist: a flat circular base, a slender cylindrical stem and a shallow, truncated-cone shade create a balanced geometric profile. It is offered in Black, Matt White and Natural Brass to suit a range of schemes.

Construction is predominantly metal with an internal glass element used as a diffuser beneath the shade. The finish is uniform and matte, with seamless transitions and no visible fasteners for a restrained, modern aesthetic.

Light is directed downward by the opaque shade to provide focused surface illumination while limiting glare. A small circular indentation on the base functions as a touch-sensitive control for the integrated 3-step dimmer, allowing quick adjustment of ambience for reading or relaxed tasks. The cordless design relies on an internal rechargeable battery for portable use.

Charging is by USB‑C to C, taking approximately five hours to reach a full charge; the battery provides around 12–14 hours of use. A wall charger is included. The lamp carries an IP65 rating for resistance to dust and water jets, and comes with a one-year warranty.
