STORY

The Visual Comfort Tawa Rechargeable Table Lamp, designed by Sean Lavin for the Tawa range, pairs a classic lantern silhouette with contemporary materials. A cylindrical, fluted glass shade sits between a solid metal base and a top cap, reflecting the range's considered proportions and suitability for indoor or outdoor use.

Formally the lamp reads as a modern lantern: a vertically fluted glass cylinder is enclosed by a metal base and top cap with an integrated arched handle for easy portability. The Tawa is available in Black, Natural Brass and Matt White.

The lamp is constructed from metal and glass, with the central shade formed from vertically fluted glass that gives the piece its distinctive texture. The solid base provides stability while the matt metal top and handle complete the clean, minimal profile.

An internal light source sits at the top of the glass cylinder and directs light into the fluted shade to produce a soft, evenly diffused 360-degree glow. Touch-control dimming adjusts brightness to suit ambient or task use without visual clutter.

The Tawa is battery-operated and rechargeable, recharging via a USB‑C to C cable in around 5 hours and delivering approximately 12–14 hours of illumination on a full charge. A wall charger is included. The fitting is rated IP65 for use outdoors; consult product measurements and mounting notes for siting and stability.
